Carolyn Clark joined Holmes, Weddle and Barcott in 2025. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Clark was in private practice for a year with a focus on environmental plaintiff class actions and general civil litigation. Ms. Clark also clerked for the Honorable Presiding Judge Matthews of the Alaska Superior Court for the Third Judicial District and the Honorable David Nesbett of the Alaska Superior Court. While in law school, Ms. Clark interned for Vermont Natural Resources Council and Advocates for the West. 
 
Ms. Clark attended Vermont Law School where she obtained her JD as well as her master’s in environmental law and policy. In law school, Ms. Clark was a member of the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law and served as a staff editor and the symposium editor. Additionally, Ms. Clark was an active member of the Environmental Law Society all three years as 1L Senator, Co-Chair, and 3L Senator. Ms. Clark also enjoyed playing basketball, swimming in the White River, and hiking throughout Vermont. 
 
In her free time, Ms. Clark enjoys traveling, hiking, backpacking, and spending time with her dog.
