Ms. Moormann joined the Seattle office of Holmes Weddle & Barcott in 2025 where she supports the firm’s Longshore and Defense Base Act practice group.

Prior to joining Holmes Weddle & Barcott, Ms. Moormann practiced as an employment attorney, advocating for plaintiffs in workplace discrimination matters. She also served as an associate at a law firm specializing in Defense Base Act cases, deepening her expertise in this nuanced area of law.

Ms. Moormann earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston, where she became a certified mediator and developed a strong foundation in dispute resolution. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees—a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a B.A. in Law—from The University of Arizona. Prior to attending law school, she worked with the county prosecutor’s office, gaining valuable experience in public service and criminal justice.

Ms. Moormann is a member of the Texas State Bar Association.
