Prior to joining Holmes Weddle & Barcott’s Seattle office in 2012, Ms. O’Day-Senior clerked for the Honorable William Dorsey, an administrative law judge with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Administrative Law Judges. There Ms. O’Day-Senior worked extensively with workers’ compensation cases brought under the federal Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and its extensions, various whistleblower protection acts, and several other federal employment statutes.

Ms. O’Day-Senior is also an active volunteer attorney for the GLBT Legal Clinic, which operates under the auspices of the King County Bar Foundation Neighborhood Legal Clinics program and the QLaw Foundation.

Ms. O’Day-Senior is the Chair of the LGBT Law Section (formerly SOGILI Section) of the Washington State Bar Association and a member of the King County Bar Association and the QLaw Bar Association & Foundation. She also authored The Forgotten Frontier? Healthcare for Transgender Detainees in Immigration and Customs Enforcement Detention, 60 Hastings L.J. 453 (2008). Ms. O’Day-Senior also contributed several articles to De Novo the former official publication of the Washington Young Lawyers Committee.
