Ms. Cook practices in the Seattle office, advising clients on commercial maritime matters, business and property acquisitions, financing, and transportation and intermodal matters. During law school, she interned at the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement division (ICE), working on a variety of issues related to commercial and cross-border criminal investigations.

Ms. Cook brings practical experience of real estate transactions, entrepreneurship and international shipping to her legal practice. Her work prior to law school included founding and managing a real estate business focused on the purchase and sale of residential, small multi-family and commercial properties. She also worked for an international shipping line in a number of capacities, from on-dock operations to customer service and sales.

Ms. Cook is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the King County Bar Association. Her recent article, The EU’s Seal Products Ban Tests the WTO’s Public Morals Exception, appeared in the 4th quarter 2014 edition of the Journal of Transportation Law, Logistics, and Policy.
